This rugby event is going to have a high media profile as it's the first of its kind, and the International Rugby Board are keen to promote this for the development of the game in the Americas.
Television and media coverage will not only be restricted to the Florida area. It will also extend to the areas from which the contestants come - at time of writing they are USA, Canada, the Caribbean, England and Wales.
The North American West Indies Rugby Association’s (NAWIRA) first annual Festival of Youth will take place Feb. 19-23, 2003 at the Cocoa Expo Sports Center, in Cocoa Beach.The tournament consists of four days of competition with finals held on the fifth and final day of the tournament.
