The coaches:
A
wonderful opportunity for these young men , some
of whom may never get the chance of playing sport outside the UK
-Bob Cockbill (ex Army) - left
Greatness, however brief,
stays with a man forever. The
experiences that they will get from this tournament and the trip itself
will become folklore amongst the squad and passed from
generation to generation, as no other team from
our club has travelled so far to participate. Tthe
squad's photo will adorn the clubhouse wall and
it will be comforting to be able to say I KNOW I WAS THERE!
- John Hughes (ex Royal Navy) - centre
To broaden the horizons of these young men, to gain experience " a
crash course on life. Richard Webb
