The pig and whistle is a cozy little pub in
Sebastian. FL, they have only
been there about 6 months but already have quite a crowd,, the best fish
and chips around!

have a vacation time share in Destin which is a lovely place. We looked
for and found
McGuire's Irish Pub & Brewery.
Well, the only thing British in there was ME. The fish came breaded, even
though I asked when I ordered if it was battered -- they said it was. They
didn't know the difference. No tea, or scones
and they were "out" of Shepherd's Pie, (we went early so I guess they
didn't make any). The menu was the American version of everything, and you
know what that is -- not British. I felt it was were false advertising and
I said so. Nothing to compare with St. Augustine's Kings Head
British Pub, 6460 U.S. 1 North, 904-823-9787, which is great.

If you are looking for a British Pub, with a bundle of friendliness and
traditional settings, then I would seriously recommend the Lion and Eagle.
Run and owned by ' Marty' your friendly/helpful landlady, you will
not be disappointed by the warm welcome you receive from the minute you
enter the pub.
(Just check out the loos for a great selection of memorabilia).
By the time we left ( which was only 3 hours later, honestly !!) we felt
like we had found our perfect local. If not for the palm tree located
right outside the main bar window, you would easily mistake yourself for
being in Blightly !! Hope to see you there.....
