Luscious Guacamole.
Spread this delicious dip on anything. It is great with steak, chicken
and seafood. Try spreading it on your luncheon sandwiches also. It is
wonderful on a smoked turkey and brie sandwich.
We especially like it with warm fresh tortilla chips . Serve it as an
appetizer or accompaniment to an entree. This guacamole is tasty with a
hint of garlic and lime. If you are a garlic fan please add an extra
clove or two. Create your own Nachos and serve it with a large bowl of
our guacamole dip. A party pleaser anytime.
Ingredients:
Avocado-2 ripe.
Red Onion- 1/2 cup finely chopped.
Garlic-2 cloves minced.
Salt and Black Pepper-to taste.
Tabasco-4 drips.
Cilantro-2 teaspoons finely chopped.
Sour Cream- 1/4 cup.
Instructions.
Cut the avocado in half. Pit the avocado by slicing in to the pit and
turning to release. Peel the avocado and sprinkle the lime juice over
it. This citrus juice will prevent the avocado from turning brown. Dice
the avocado and place in a bowl. Add all the other ingredients to the
bowl. Mash all the ingredients together to form a smooth consistency.
Leave
some small chunks of the avocado. This will give a little texture to the
presentation. Place in a serving bowl and refrigerate until ready to
serve. Before serving mix a little to reincorporate some moisture that
may have formed
